Roiate Workcamp
In Southern Lazio, the region of Rome, there are some hill and mountain area that need to be protected and valued, in order to safeguard the environment and to make these places a natural tourist attraction. The landscope offers a lot of natural and cultural resources, but many inhabitants are leaving the small city and the villages in order to go to work in the big cities nearby.
None the less Roiate, like its sorrounding villages and the towns, has a wonderful historical and cultural heritage that both the municipality and the citizens want to respect and to promote. On eof the aims of the project is to promote this heritage by cleaning and working together with international volunteers also there for this purpose.
