Marine week is a celebration of the marine environment that takes place every year, all along the Devon and Dorset coastline.

This event has been run from the Seashore Centre since 1996 and is a popular event with both visitors and local residents alike.

Marine Week takes place at different locations all along Devon and Dorset coasts, with more organizations joining in every year. During this week we offer 7 full days of activities, which run from 9am- 6pm. Certain days may focus on different marine habitats or species e.g. coral reefs, plankton, food chains.

The overall day is one of fun but with a deep-rooted emphasis on the amazing and dynamic marine world around us.
